Storytime Train Rides on the Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad in Portland. Families with pre-school aged kids will enjoy a ride along the railroad while listening to their favorite stories. Rides leave at 10:30 am. Regular train rides run during school vacation week from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm.

Public Dance at the Riverback Dance Club on Water Street in Augusta. 7:00 – 11:00 pm. A Swing dance lesson will be held from 7 – 8. BYOB & bring your own partner. $10 admission for lesson AND dance, proceeds benefit the Augusta Over 40 Singles Club.

Comics for Kilts fundraiser at the Irish Heritage Center in Portland. Featuring some of the top comedians in New England; Kevin Neales, John Ater, and “Tuck.” $20 each or $30 for two tickets. All proceeds benefit the Claddagh Mhor Pipe Band. Cash bar opens at 7:00 pm, show is from 8:00 – 9:30.
