You are fun, smart, savvy and have the unique ability to contribute to a morning show team. We are part of Saga Communications, where the product comes first. NewsRadio560 WGAN is the news source for the eight station cluster of the Portland Radio Group. We believe in the power of News/Talk. We are looking for a talented person to be a reporter/anchor. A positive attitude and a desire to learn are just as important as experience. The position is morning drive news anchor, working with multiple formats and also delivering reports on camera for our television partner. In this role you will:
• Be on-air and on-camera
• Deliver breaking news as it happens
• Develop your news-gathering, anchoring and reporting skills
Knowledge of MediaTouch, Burli, Adobe Audition, ProTools, and other digital audio production systems will be helpful. Newswriting skills will also be helpful. This is a full-time position with an excellent group of stations, owned by Saga Communications.
